we’re live. welcome to codepocalypse.

it’s officially started.

what actually happens in this hackathon

codepocalypse is a 48-hour online hackathon where you build something — anything — before the internet “ends.”

how it works:

  1. start building now. you’ve got 48 hours from launch.

  2. make something. it can be a website, app, bot, ai project, game, figma design, automation, or even a cursed prototype that barely works.

  3. document it. once done, submit it on devpost with a short readme. tell us what it does, how you built it, and why it’s chaotic or interesting.

  4. optional video. record a short screen share or demo (doesn’t need to be fancy).

  5. submit before the deadline. you can keep editing your project until time’s up.

after that, the judges will review everything asynchronously. winners are announced later, along with fun awards like “most cursed build” and “bug-as-a-feature.”

you can now start working on your projects — solo or with your team.
build anything. break things. make something weird, funny, or completely useless.

your submission must include a short readme and a project link (code, no-code, figma, whatever).
optional demo video — totally fine if it’s shaky or unpolished.

this weekend is about experimentation, not perfection.
go build something the internet’s not ready for.
